By deprecating the Shopify Plus brand, Shopify could be signaling that it no longer needs or wants to differentiate between its various customer segments. To make this obvious, we started a product line called Shopify Plus and built entire marketing campaigns around the Shopify Plus brand. We built Plus brand as a counter-position to the Shopify brand. Shopify Plus will have all the same brand equity as Shopify Advanced or Shopify Basic.

Using data from the Fed's Survey of Consumer Finances, the analysis finds that over a million Americans ages 55 to 64 are holding student loans, or have spouses with loans. There are a range of reasons why older borrowers might be struggling to pay off their student loans. Millennials are most likely to hold student debt with an average balance of about $35,000, and while fewer Gen Xers have student debt, their average balance is higher at about $48,000, according to TransUnion. Provisions are being rolled out by President Joe Biden's Education Department that could ease the burden of student debt on older borrowers. The fund initially voted for Musk's pay package when it was taken to a shareholder vote in 2018. Separately, proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis said in a report on Saturday that the pay plan was "excessive" and presented investors with "uncertain benefits and additional risk." Tesla has also argued the compensation plan is "critical to the future success of Tesla" and has even paid for a handful of advertisements promoting the pay plan. Shareholders will be asked to vote on several proposals in addition to the proposal to reinstate Musk's pay package, which was struck down by a Delaware judge earlier this year.

Meta may need such access to make its generative AI tools, like Meta AI, more effective for users and more competitive in the increasingly crowded market of generative AI search tools and chatbots, the people said. User posts and comments on Facebook or Instagram are not necessarily the type of high-quality training data that generative AI chatbots and search tools need to generate quality outputs. Previously, Zuckerberg said he did not expect the generative AI boom. The US Copyright Office is considering new rules to cover generative AI. Landing a data analyst job helped me achieve the life I had dreamed ofI started looking at job boards and saw a ton of data analyst positions, with an average starting salary of around $70,000, in 2018. I don't feel that working in Big Tech is worth itWhen people think about working a tech job, many think of Big Tech companies like Tesla and Meta, which offer the highest salaries and have a certain air of prestige. Although they might not be quite as high as Big Tech roles, the salaries at non-tech companies can be super competitive, especially if you focus on non-tech companies in the Fortune 500. When you apply for tech jobs at non-tech companies, you're not competing against people who are trying to be the best in the world. AdvertisementI advise anyone hoping to land their first data analyst job at a non-tech company to start looking at their current job as an asset and find where it overlaps with data analyst jobs.
